Developed through close collaboration between Gaerne's R&D team and professional riders, the GP1 LS are a testament to the company's dedication to innovation and performance.
The lightweight upper is made of microfiber, a high-tech material designed to offer optimal abrasion resistance. The inserts on the instep, front and back ensure a snug and comfortable fit.
The Gaerne Floating Pivot System (GFPS) offers exceptional lateral support, preventing compression and hyperextension while allowing natural movement of the foot on the footpegs. The anatomical and replaceable PU Front Protection Plate guarantees optimal support and includes an interchangeable nylon front slider.
The closure system combines an internal zip with an elastic insert in the ankle area, making it easier to put on the boot. Around the calf, an interchangeable BOA Li2 rotor allows for precise and personalized adjustment of the fit.
To enhance functionality, the PU shift guard maximizes sensitivity when shifting while providing extra support for the fingers. The rubber Grip Guard on the inside not only increases grip with the bike, but also protects the rider's leg from heat from the engine and exhaust.
Inside the boot, a breathable inner lining ensures comfort, while strategically placed padding in the ankle area, with variable thicknesses, ensures optimal support during use.
The anatomical, removable and washable insole ensures complete support for the foot for long-lasting comfort.
The Gaerne sole is designed with specific grip zones and a profile that is perfectly integrated with the upper, ensuring exceptional traction on the footpegs and controls and greater resistance to wear and abrasion from the asphalt. In addition, interchangeable magnesium sliders on the toe and heel facilitate sliding when in contact with the asphalt.
The GP1 LS boots are CE certified in compliance with the EN 13634:2017 standard and EU Regulation 2016/425.
